The following are guidelines for chairs.
1. Session schedules can be found at https://faops2023.org/index.php?GP=pro/sym
You may check out the abstract of your chairing symposium in advance.
2. The allotted symposium time is 120 minutes. Please adhere to the given time strictly.
The chair will be provided with a bell and a timer to keep track of time, and we encourage you to use them.
3. A program book will be placed at the chair's table in each room. As a chair, you can refer to the specific times in each book.
Please make sure to leave the program book on the table, as this book will be shared with other chairs.
4. At the conference site, along with the program book, a printed copy of each speaker's biography and abstract will be placed on the table along with the program book.
5. In case of a "no-show" of a speaker, please inform the audience of a break time for the “no-show” slot and the start time of text presentation.
(Conference staff will display a break time slide in each room.)
