FAOPS 2023 organizing committee is planning several optional tour programs for participants during the conference period.
You can register for each tour program by selecting an option on the online registration page.
Please note that the tours are subject to change.

Notice
  • Participation in each tour program will be granted on a ‘first-come, first-served basis’.
  • If the minimum number of participants, 15, is not reached, the programs may be canceled with prior notice.
  • If you have applied for a tour course from an earlier version and would like to change it, please contact the FAOPS 2023 Secretariat (faops2023@gmail.com).
  • Change on your application is available until September 30.
  • On-site application for the tour is not possible.

T1 : Daegu City Tour_ Introduction of Traditional Places & Technology (OPEN)

*Equivalent to the existing ‘Daegu Tour’.

  • Donghwasa Temple : The meaning of Donghwasa is “Paulownia Blossom Temple”, one of the most popular temples in Daegu.
  • Bangjja Brassware Museum: Traditional Korean hand-forged Bronzeware : Bangjja is the highest quality amongst all kinds of brassware in Korea, with an alloy of copper and tin. The collection of products and their history and method remain in this museum.

T2 : Gyeongju Historical Tour- Full day (OPEN)

  • Daereungwon Ancient Tomb Complex : The Daereungwon in Gyeongju is a historic site containing ancient tombs, showcasing the burial practices of the Silla dynasty in Korea.
